Excellence in its simplicity and execution...

I had TVee up and running in 5 minutes. That's the beauty of this system, it's simplicity. Instead of adding another remote to the fray, the main speaker learns your current remote's volume/mute controls...sweet. Why haven't any other manufacturers thought of that, instead of bundling [not to mention charging extra for] another remote control?

In the world of soundbars, Boston Acoustics has separated themselves from the pack by creating a reasonably priced, excellent sounding, simple system--abstaining from the 'faux' surround sound mantra. Who knew enhanced stereo could sound so good? I've had mine for weeks, and I love it.

Last and definitely not least, let's talk about the WIRELESS SUBWOOFER. Yeah, the wireless subwoofer that is not affected by my wireless network (802.11g), or my cordless phones (5.8GHz). No drops, no clicks, and no hums. Since I plugged it in, I haven't thought about it...until the room rumbles. I have the bass level at 2, and Die Hard 4 sounded amazing!

This system kicks! Put it on your short list--especially if you are dreading running/seeing speaker wires. In my opinion, it's the only contender at this price point.
Better than I expected

I currently have a very nice 5.1 system for my living room. What I didn't have was decent sound for the 32" Philips in my bedroom. I looked at various PC type sound systems trying to determine if that would work using my TV. Then I stumbled upon the Boston Acoustics TVee. It was a little pricy at $399 but when I found it here for $266 I decided to give it a try. I was under no illusion that this was a 5.1 system but speakers to replace the current TV speakers. Well, I was really surprised at the sound quality both from the sound bar and wireless woofer. Between the two I thought the sound was exceptional and well thought out with the wireless sub. I spent the rest of the day laying in bed trying various movies to determine the quality of my purchase and I am, so far, extremely happy with the system. Looks good, sounds good, and now while the main TV is taping two shows, I can go the bedroom to watch a third show without thinking how much I am missing listening to TV sound. I think you will be happy with this purchase. P.S. After reading this, I watch to much TV.
Everything and More Than I had Hoped For!

This was my third attempt at purchasing a sound system for my 52" Samsung LCD HD TV. I tried the Bose 3-2-1 system and the Yamaha Sound Bar. The Bose sounded like an old transistor radio which completely surprised me. I own two higher end Bose systems that are awesome. The Yamaha just didn't get it. I didn't like a second remote and a wired sub-woofer. Anyway, I read about the BA TVee and gave it a try. It delivered just as described. I love being able to use my TV remote to control the sound bar and the wireless sub-woofer is excellent. But what really pleased me was the sound delivery. It enhances the vocals and doesn't over project all the unwanted background sound effects that are extremely annoying. I've used it with Blu-Ray DVD's as well and once again it sounded awesome. You can hear people speaking clearly without all the background noise competing with it. But at the same time the background sound is clear and sounds great, just not overwhelming. The sub-woofer works and sounds great too. I'm just extremely pleased with this sound bar. It's inexpensive, easy to install, and sounds and works great!
Boston Accustics scores a big one!

After reading all the reviews I could find and looking at this system at Circuit City, I was convinced that this would be the perfect enhancement for my flat screen TV. The TV's built-in speakers just don't deliver the "punch" that I like for movies and sporting events and Boston Accustics came to the rescue. My next task was to find the very best price available. I located this system on Amazon for under $250 (shipping included) when the retail price was $399 locally making this purchase a no brainer. The system arrived 3 days later and all parts up and running in just a few minutes. Everything worked great and the sound was great. The system is in a small room and it even works better for DVD movies than my Sony 2.1 Dream System. The remote programs easier than any I seen and the wireless Sub is unbelieveable regarding sound quality and convenience. The sound bar sounds great and has a much more expense look. I highly recommend this system for medium to small size rooms and suggest shopping for a bargain price.
Great Sound for the Price

This soundbar might not be as good as an expensive surround-sound system, but for the price it's hard to beat. It's easy to set up, and within a few minutes after getting it out of the box, you'll be hearing something far superior to the regular TV speakers. The subwoofer is cordless, so you can put it anywhere in the room. Having it and the soundbar has made watching TV a lot more fun.
