We’ve had this for a few months, and so far it has worked just fine. I like that it has a stand on the back, so if you don’t want to hang it up on your wall, you don’t have to.

bought a second one of these to give to a recent graduate. first one has worked flawlessly and has great battery life. the batteries in the new unit had leaked in the packaging forcing me to open up and clean the package before putting in fresh USA made Duracell batteries and reseal.

Note to Kidde: if you can’t send good batteries, don’t send any.

All the previous reviews were quite helpful and I do have to say this is a great tool to have in your home. This one is made very well and I love that it has a stand and we can just keep it on a table in our home. This way we don’t have it fixed to a wall and can move it to different rooms if need be. Definitely a worthwhile buy.

Only thing I don’t like about this monitor is that green LED operation indicating light flashes and it become bothersome when you are trying to sleep. If it wasn’t the light I would give 5 stars
