This unit is currently on its 6th batch of Jerky and has made two batches of dried tomatoes. The Unit works great, the only real complaint I have is the fan. It is unbalanced causing the unit to vibrate plus the engineer should have used a different blade design to help reduce the noise. I just keep it in the pantry and close the door.

“Very poorly made” 2009-11-20
By Jean Logan (Franklin, NC USA)
I am trying this for the first time and it will not even fit together properly. The first tray does not sit on the bottom correctly and a lot of the air comes out where it is not supposed to. The top will only stay on if you balance it right because that does not fit on either. I looked at the box it came in and peeled off some of the stickers and realized that I was sent a dehydrator that had been returned. It is upsetting that they would just send it out again without even checking it out to see if there was a problem. I will try and return it although I have had it a couple of months before I tried it. I should have known better.

“Great for herbs and fruit” 2009-11-08
By Elizabeth C. Hamilton (Cincinnati, Ohio)
We have found that the Gardenmaster works very well for drying herbs and fruit. The booklet helps get you started on the basics. For our small herb garden, the four trays gave plenty of room. We are also experimenting with drying cranberries and apples. We are looking to expand further in order to do larger scale fruit prep.
