I have owned this Nesco FD-75PR food dehydrator for 1 month. I have made several batches of jerky. 6 1/2 hours seems to be the perfect time. Best purchase I have ever made. Can’t wait to try fruit. The only improvement i would suggest is an on/off switch. I purchased a plug in timer from Walmart for $6. This works perfectly fine.

My husband loved it! We’ve dehydrated beef jerky and fruits. It was trial and error at first but once we realized you need to cut the fruit in large slices, they came out nicely. The beef jerky was fantastic in taste and texture! The recipe booklet is handy, too. No more store bought dried foods for us! (My husband’s favorite Christmas gift!)
